Ramadhan Announcements
Ramdhan Mubarak
The blessed month of Ramadhan is upon us once again! The Muslims around the world consider this time as an opportunity for repentance, an opportunity for a change by increasing our worship to Allah (SWT), an opportunity for coming closer to Allah’s mercy and love.
The month of Ramadhan is one of the lunar months of the Islamic calendar which is based around the lunar cycle.
First of Ramadhan will be Saturday 1st of march as the sighting of the crescent was confirmed.
Tarawih Prayers
Tarawih prayers will commence on Friday night.
Brothers will be in the Main prayer hall ground floor, while sisters will be in the prayer hall upstairs.
We ask Allah (SWT) to grant us the ability and the support to worship him in the best way

Description
Plymouth Islamic Education Trust (PIETY) is looking for a full time Minister of Religion/Imam (Following only Qur’an and Sunna).
The Imam must be a good reciter of the Quran (Hafz Preferable), highly qualified and well experienced in Islamic Law with substantial knowledge of Quran, Islamic Sharia Law and Charitable givings
Must be able to promote interfaith harmony, fluent in English and Arabic languages.
Duties: Leading prayers able to deliver effective talks and Khutbah. – Teaching Quran, Hadith and Islamic studies to both children and adults. Promoting events hosted by the Centre, Officiating the Islamic marriage sermonizes, funeral services and family counselling.
Essentially able to serve the entire community as a Minister of Religion.

Monday and Tuesday children’s Quran classes at 4:30 -5:30pm(request registration forms available)
Tuesday baby and toddlers :11:30 am-3 pm(no registration required)
Wednesday :tafsir classes with Sr fatima hans 6:30pm-7pm via zoom(request to join group for links)
Wednesday :Quran classes for sisters 1st floor with Sr Sumaya at 2 pm – 3pm
Friday :11:30am Quran classes for sisters 2nd floor piety with Sr Howa
Saturday :children’s madrassa 10am-1:30pm
Sunday children’s madrassa 10 am -1:30 pm( request registration forms available)
